I’ve been starving to behold some truly innovative, exhilarating beauty looks during New York Fashion Week AW14 — and, after countless shows in which models wore no lipstick, only a touch of eyeliner, and sheer pink or beige nails, I finally got my wish with the cosmic-inspired makeup at the Rodarte AW14 show.
Yesterday, I spent the afternoon with the SheaMoisture team at the Walgreen’s in Union Square (located at 145th 4th Avenue, between 14th Street and 13th Street).
You may not be able to snatch up Cate Blanchett’s Armani Couture dress, Kerry Washington’s Fred Leighton jewels, or even Emma Thompson’s Louboutin heels, but one of the wonderful things about the realm of beauty is that, with the right tools and techniques, you can experiment with any red carpet hair or makeup look.
