Monday may have been the coldest day of the year, but I tried my hardest to bring some heat to Telemundo 47’s “Acceso Total,” where I discussed one of the prevalent fashion trends for the upcoming Spring 2015 season: fringe!

I’ll soon be posting the segment video, as well as a detailed recap with details on each garment and accessory showcased but, in the meantime, I figured I’d share a few snaps of my outfit. I wanted to wear a dress with long sleeves since, well, it’s frigid outside, but I also wanted the color to convey the happiness of springtime so I opted for this figure-hugging BCBGMAXAZRIA dress, made of a lilac-toned stretch lace fabric and featuring an asymmetrical silver-toned zipper on one side. I love that the dress is completely sheer along the sleeves and the upper section of the bodice but then incorporates a nude underlay along the bust area that extends all the way down to the hemline, ensuring there are no accidental nip slips or other major faux pas moments.

I accessorized the look with a statement necklace from Topshop, featuring a chunky silver-toned chain embellished with rectangular and teardrop-shaped glass stones in a translucent lilac color, and the Baublebar “Snow Queen” drop earrings, which feature pastel pink, lavender, and clear stones, some of them in marquise-cut shapes positioned along the lower edge of the earrings to create fringe-like movement (perfect for the segment theme!). For a finishing touch, I rocked a sculptural silver-toned Laruicci ring on my right index finger.

The finishing touch was a pair of open-toed, T-strap Shoe Cult by Nasty Gal sandals featuring wide, silver-toned straps with a mirror-like sheen and a metallic violet ankle strap and heel.

Hope you dig the Lady in Lilac look!
