Featuring an assortment of miniature bottles of the season’s most popular nail lacquer shades, Urban Decay’s Summer of Love Nail Kit comes in a lightweight pouch with gold and purple accents and a handy top zipper opening so you can tote it on any trip and have a polish for every occasion. The packaging is half the fun — each teeny 5ml bottle features the words “Summer of Love” in curved, hippie-flavored gold letters, all assembled to form a heart shape. The rectangular pouch, meanwhile, boasts transparent vinyl along the front and back, as well as faux suede along the edges in a crackled vintage gold hue against a deep purple color.

The seven shades in the kit are: Hashbury, a metallic purple; Woodstock, a punchy, salmon-y pink; Aquarius, a shimmering teal blue; Magic Bus, a deep popsicle orange; Psychedelic Sister, a bright coral red; Love Light, a pearl pink with tons of sparkle; and Shine On, a pale bronze color with a smooth sheen. The lacquers dry rather quickly, which make them ideal for women on-the-go, but I will forewarn you that they don’t have a particularly long lifespan. While the polish doesn’t necessarily chip particularly easy, it does begin to fade at the edges rather quickly (we’re talking four-to-five handwashing sessions and you’ll start needing a touch-up). But still, considering you’re getting seven colors for less than $30, it’s quite the steal. And if you have friends with birthdays coming up, this is an ideal gift option.
