This Season’s Yellow Plaid Fixation Has Clueless Fans Swooning
While plaid is a fall fashion staple, this year’s go-to color for the classic checkered print is much sunnier and lively than usual. Whether by coincidence or by design, the sunny yellow and rich mustard hues incorporated into this season’s plaid prints are making us nostalgic for the ’90s, when Alicia Silverstone made “As if!” a part of pop culture vernacular as the hilariously oblivious and unapologetically spoiled yet incredibly lovable Cher Horowitz in Clueless.
