Sicka Than Average Featured on GlamLatina.com!

My dad always said a nice pat on the back is sometimes necessary — after all, if you don’t root for yourself, how can you expect others to do so? So, ladies, allow me a little pat on the back today! Sicka Than Average was just featured on GlamLatina.com, the new online home of Glam Belleza Latina, a new print publication from the makers of Glamour that, as the name implies, caters to the Latina consumer. The website is less than a month old and, already, they chose to feature yours truly as a major force in the beauty blogosphere, picking Sicka Than Average for the first installment of its hopefully ongoing Beauty Blogger Spotlight column.

In the piece, writer Angie Romero notes she loves Sicka Than Average “because it’s not only super-fun to read and covers our favorite topics, it also makes us feel smarter every time.” I was so thrilled to read those words since, of course, that’s always been a huge part of my mission. And then, of course, the piece goes into a Q&A in which I talk about founding Sicka Than Average, my own favorite beauty blogs, makeup trends for Spring 2013, splurges and steals for the season,and much more.
