Nails That Have A Flair For Drama — New Zoya Fall 2015 Flair Nail Polish Collection

These nail colors are not meant for a Netflix-and-chill session — they’re destined to be seen, to be flaunted, to do a bit of peacocking and attract onlookers.  The nail polish in the Zoya Flair collection, half of the 2-part Focus and Flair edition, shimmer regally and, in some cases, incorporate a beguiling iridescence. They’re opulent colors but by no means are they stuffy — these aren’t the curtsy-and-bow type but, rather, a rock ‘n’ roll take on luxury. Below, check out swatches of all the women in this modern royal court!

AGGIE

An antique gold hue with an iridescent finish, this color is reminiscent of the scarab beetles that were beheld as sacred in ancient Egypt. It’s arguably the most stunning shade in the 6-piece collection thanks to the winning combination of a deep and almost molten gold, a holographic finish, and bronze micro glitter. ESTELLE

This sapphire blue shade liquid metal shade features a blackened base that makes the jewel tone stand out all the more, like a blue star in a seemingly raven-toned galaxy. Here are some photos for your reference:

TRIS

Modern neutrals and moody shades are practically a prerequisite when designing an autumn-ready nail color palette. Described as a blackened, brushed nickel liquid metal, Tris fits into both categories without seeming predictable. It possesses the stormy gray undertones we associate with foggy and thunderstorm-stricken days, but the metallic finish, a dirty and almost sooty color, does, in fact, recall nickel as opposed to silver, lending the shade a certain slick quality.

GIADA

This amethyst shade, featuring a molten metallic finish and fuchsia pearl shimmer, could ostensibly be a tribute to Italian chef Giada De Laurentiis, who often dons purple and violet fashions. It’s the color of a lightning bolt in a purple-skied evening storm.

EMBER

Like its name implies, this molten metallic red nail lacquer has a fiery energy, but it features enough cool undertones to make it universally flattering. The color reminds me of red maple leaves and winterberry bushes and yet it has the oh-so-cool quality of a shiny, cherry-colored muscle car.

CINNAMON

Described as a classic bronze liquid metal, this nail lacquer has enough of a golden radiance and sufficient russet-y red undertones as to make it feel like a fresh take on the hue.
