Yesterday, we showed you some head-turning gifts for trend-setting girls with an adventurous personal style. Since this is our favorite kind of gal, we decided to showcase even more prime picks to make these divas drool this holiday season. Check out these rockin’ gift ideas!
Mason by Michelle Mason Leather Sleeve Car Coat, $735. Available at IntermixOnline.com
With a draped open placket and a fluid foldover collar that runs the length of the garment, widening ever so slightly as it runs its course, this cobalt blue coat would be a stunner even without the the black leather sleeves that run from the elbow to the wrist. That said, the contrast of the black leather against the blue shell is simply sublime.
Modern Vice Abrasivatto Jett boots in Green with Bronze, $449. Available at Shop.ModernVice.com
A nod to a classic monk strap men’s shoe, this Modern Vice bootie blurs the line between masculinity and femininity, including the kiltie fringe, pointy straps, and D-ring buckles associated with the traditional men’s shoe but adding an almond-shaped toe and a more streamlined silhouette. The heel counter, meanwhile, features a row of pyramid-shaped studs for a dash of rock ‘n’ roll edge. This particular limited-edition model ups the ante even further by being crafted out of a special Abrasivatto leather that was, in turn, hand brushed in Modern Vice’s NYC factory to produce the final hunter green color and the touches of bronze.
K2o by Karen Ko Pop Tropez V Necklace, $395. Available at shop. k2obykarenko.com
You don’t need to be a Taurus to appreciate the beauty of the color emerald — in fact, it was one of Pantone’s choice colors this year. But instead of dainty gems encrusted into timid-looking pendants and stud earrings, you can experience this color without spending a bundle — and do so in a bolder, more streetwise design via the k2o by Karen Ko Pop Tropez V Necklace. This fun-loving piece features a 1″-wide gold-plated brass chain choker adorned with green Swarovski crystals woven into triangle shapes for a theatrical effect. The clustered Swarovski crystals resemble rock candy, adding to the cheekiness of the design, while the hefty chain adds a rock ‘n’ roll attitude.
LORAC Rockin’ Red Hot Lashes, $23. Available at Ulta.com
What girl doesn’t want long, thick, perfectly curled lashes that she can bat coyly? Enter LOAC’s Rockin’ Red Hot Lashes Kit, which features the brand’s PRO Mascara, which makes lashes appear longer and thicker, as well as a vampy, metallic red eye lash curler with studs covering its hinged finger pads.
3.1 Phillip Lim Medium Ryder Hold-All, $690. Available at 31PhillipLim.com
This season, fur trim is adorning more than the usual winter coats, knee-high boots, and toasty scarves and gloves, popping up on everything from sunglasses to satchels — and, more importantly, doing so in bright, dynamic, novel tones. Phillip Lim is one of the designers creating a funky fur fantasy this season, as you’ll gather when regarding the Ryder bag pictured here. Measuring 12″ in height, 16/75″ in width, and 5″ in depth, this roomy carry-all handbag features two top handles with a 4″ drop and a detachable cross-body strap that delivers a drop of up to 22 inches. Made primarily of cow leather, the bag’s center panel is covered in rich burgundy goat hair to create an unusual textural juxtaposition.
Koral Vanitas Skinny Floral Jean, $250. Available at ScoopNYC.com
These five-pocket jeans feature a bold floral pattern along the outside for a modern, fresh take on florals — they’re proof positive that blooms don’t have to be a spring-only motif!
Butter London Double Take Duo in Ice, $24. Available at ButterLondon.com
‘Tis the season for things that shimmer, sparkle, and shine. This Butter London nail lacquer duo allows you to give your nails a remarkably resplendent look, as if tiny icicles were coating them. The Ice duo contains the Bluecoat nail lacquer, a rich and opaque navy blue with a demure and sophisticated shimmer, along with the Leccy overcoat, a sheer, almost clear, blue-toned top coat with iridescent flecks that create the desired frosty look. Here’s a glimpse at what the two polishes look like together (though keep in mind that because of the top coat’s opalescence, it’s incredibly hard to photograph and actually looks about a million times better up close and personal):
Laruicci Salamanca Necklace, $300. Available at Laruicci.myshopify.com
We’ve all seen the Western flicks where the bandits wrap bandannas around their necks as neckherchiefs, pulling them upward to cover their noses and mouths right before committing a crime and wreaking havoc. Using this image as a jumping point, jewelry designer Lauren Ruicci crafted this stunning Western-meets-disco necklace, featuring metallic green and eggplant purple sequins woven into a triangular shape and designed to drape ever so slightly as a fabric bandanna would do.
Goody Stylista Oval Cushion Hairbrushes, $5.99 each. Available at Walmart stores.
These days, we want everything we own to convey our personalities — our laptops, which we adorn with printed skins and tuck inside leather or neoprene cases with cool graphics, embossed textures, sequins and glitter, or digital prints; our iPhones, which we protect with designer snap-on cases; our iPads; and so forth. So why should our hairbrushes be deprived of the fun? Goody’s Stylista collection allows fashion-forward girls to add a dash of color to their vanity tables or bathroom counters via oval-shaped brushes with whimsical prints ranging from butterfly designs to abstract swirls and paisley-like flourishes.
Timex Originals Classic Round Watch with Tortoise Shell Pattern Strap, $70. Available at Timex.com
This classic timepiece gets a modern update via a patent leather strap with a tortoise shell pattern. First popularized in the 1960s when sunglasses, reading glasses, necklaces, belts, earrings, purses, and even guitar were fashioned out of tortoise shell, synthetic renditions of the material have been appearing on runways once again in recent years, signaling a comeback. Water resistant up to 30 meters, this chic watch features a polished gold-tone case, a champagne dial, and a convenient INDIGLO night light.
TOMS Black Jacquard Desert Wedges, $84. Available at TOMS.com
Fans of tribal-inspired fashion will love these TOMS wedge booties, featuring a chukka-inspired silhouette made more feminine via a covered, 3 1/4″-high wedge. These chic booties feature a jacquard woven fabric with the stripes, diamonds, and triangle shapes often found in Native American textile designs. And, of course, they retain the tucked toe that has become synonymous with TOMS shoes.
ITA Collection Almas Evening Bag Made with Swarovski Elements, $1775. Available at Boutique.ItaCollection.com
Talk about a clutch that’s ready for a red carpet appearance! The very fabric of this evening bag is encrusted with black Swarovski crystals to create this luxurious but also slightly sinister and beguiling effect which is, in turn, contrasted by the sunny quality of the 18k gold plated metal bars and beads, as well as the box chain strand.
Urban Decay Vice 2 Palette, $59. Available at Sephora.com
If loving this palette is wrong, we don’t want to be right. Proving that the second time can be as good or even better than the first time, the Urban Decay Vice 2 palette features 20 eye shadow shades that are anything but predictable or safe. Even the more muted, neutral-ish colors have been given a twist, while the bolder brights are as daring as they are beautiful. Can’t wait to see what the shades looked like when brushed onto skin? Let’s take a look at some swatches!
First, we have the five eye shadows on the top row of the palette: Smokeout, a black satin color with taupe undertones to give it more of a sooty feel; Lovesick, a powdery matte black shade with scattered iridescent micro-glitter; Shellshock, a bright metallic silver that would make the Tin Man envious; Coax, a blue-toned medium metallic pink with golden iridescent micro-sparkle; and X-Rated, a satin baby pink hue with blue undertones.
Moving on to the second row of eye shadows, we have Poison, a deep charcoal shade with a satin finish and iridescent micro-sparkle; Stash, a deep, shimmering olive green that almost looks like a tarnished bronze hue and features iridescent micro-sparkle; Strike, an Etruscan gold hue with a shimmering finish and silver micro-glitter; Madness, a stunning, sapphire-meets-teal metallic blue with blue micro-glitter; and Prank, a deep navy shade with a matte finish that’s accentuated by floating turquoise pearls.
The third row is where some of the most magical eye shadow shades are located — there’s Derailed, a taupe-ish brown with a metallic finish and tonal shimmer; Betrayal, a stunning, space-aged ultraviolet color with a satin finish and blue shift shimmer to give it an otherworldly iridescence; Voodoo, a deep metallic purple shimmer with iridescent purple micro-glitter; Damaged, a dark emerald green with a metallic finish and emerald shimmer in a slightly brighter tone; and Radar, a metallic brown hue with reddish undertones and iridescent micro-glitter.
The last row of eye shadows, meanwhile, contains some of the softer, more neutral tones but, again, they’re far from basic. Within this row, you’ll find Rewind, a medium chestnut brown hue with a matte finish; Ambush, a metallic pinkish brown shade with a satin finish; Habit, a light nude hue with a matte finish; Toxic, a coppery pink hue with tonal micro-glitter; and Dope, a warm pink champagne hue with a satin finish.
Peter Pilotto Farah High Neck Dress, $1347. Available at KirnaZabete.com
Talk about a fashion lesson in geometry! This short-sleeved, viscose-blend frock keeps eyes busy via its many modern design elements — from the use of color-blocking to create crisp geometric shapes (like the triangles along the sides of the bodice and the skirt or the rectangular shape right above the bustline) to the integration of surrealistic prints in targeted areas. The high neck and the epaulet-like flaps atop the sleeves, meanwhile, create a sense of strength and control that balances the more whimsical elements of the design.
Dannijo Bea Necklace, $995. Available at Dannijo.com
Dannijo knows what urban tastemakers want — which is why the brand has amassed legions of fans in only a few years, becoming one of the most buzzed-about jewelry brands in the market. By taking glamorous-looking Swarovski crystals and grouping them together to create a layered effect and, moreover, an imposing and hefty silhouette, this gunmetal-plated necklace reads as sophisticated yet strong and powerful — like a boss!
Lacoste Berdine 4 Sneaker Wedge, $200. Available at Zappos.com
These versatile wedge sneakers feature braided cord laces reminiscent of hiking boots and a sawtooth style sole that compounds the rugged, outdoorsy feel. The combination of mahogany brown leather uppers and shiny fabric overlays, meanwhile, makes the shoe feel more street-ready, while the hidden 3″ wedge will make legs appear longer and leaner.

Feel like you’re rolling in the deep — sea, that is — with this cobalt-colored handbag from Treesje, featuring gold-toned studs and zippers for a tougher, more assured look that confident fashionistas will covet.
