Shortly after the Chrysler Building was erected in New York City, with its linear skyscraper silhouette and ornamental spire, replete with vaulted arches adorned with triangular shapes, Miami Beach area saw its own landscape change to accommodate its own Art Deco-inspired buildings and homes. As with all Art Deco structures, those built in Miami Beach featured ample geometric elements but they were also influenced by the tropical climate so that many boasted yellow, coral orange, and turquoise blue façades. Perhaps the most notable Art Deco structure in Miami Beach is the Delano Hotel, designed by architect Robert Swartburg and build in 1947 by Rob and Rose Schwartz. Though most of the four-winged tower’s interior design consists of white walls, white marble floors, white sofas and chaises, and even white linens, interior designer Philippe Starck did infuse some unexpected color into key areas to give a modern spin on the minimalist look. There’s of, course, the lemon yellow walls greeting guests when they enter the hotel lobby but also turquoise-and-blue rattan armchairs peppered inside the Blue Door Restaurant’s Terrace, , the kiwi green day beds and umbrellas adorning the Aqua Rooftop Solarium, the slim tangerine orange chaises lining hallways, and so forth.

Nissa Jewelry‘s new Delano Collection, then, nods to this iconic tourist destination and nightlife hub via the use of geometric shapes (circles, teardrop shapes, diamonds and crescent moons) along with the color palette (electric turquoise, yellow, and coral orange) and silver and gold metals encrusted with clear crystals for a dazzling, mirror-like effect that nods to the 1920s and 1930s. Heavily inspired by Miami’s Art Deco architecture, the collection also boasts a fearless New York attitude thanks to the intensity of the colored resin inlays in each piece — unlike the muted, softer, more pastel-y shades that cover South Beach’s most beloved Art Deco buildings, these colors are bold and electric.

Perfect for adding some punch to your summer wardrobe, the Nissa Delano Collection is on sale, with pieces priced at 60% off retail through tomorrow, April 28th, at midnight EST.

If you prefer giving your neck some lovin’, you can choose the understated Delano Pendant Necklace, shown at top, which features a thin chain with a teardrop-shaped pendant boasting a faceted resin inlay along its center that is, in turn, juxtaposed against etched gold-toned or silver-toned metal encrusted with clear crystal stones. Normally $60, the Delano Pendant Necklace is currently available for $24. Those who prefer to make a more emphatic fashion statement can opt for a more audacious piece like the Delano Bib Necklace, pictured last above, which features a 2.75″-wide bib in a crescent moon shape, its outline grooved to resemble the surface of a boxed chain and encrusted with clear stones, and its center featuring a raised resin inlay with plenty of shine.
