Dream A Little Dream With Tweezerman’s New Make Believers Collection
It’s the day before Halloween so, chances are, you’ve already spent the weekend putting the finishing touches on your costume and, if you have kids, staging a few dress rehearsals or even doing some trick-or-treating in the neighborhood. For many, Halloween is a time for spooky costumes and haunted houses, but those of us who appreciate the fantasy element of the season — without all the fear, guts, and gore — find ourselves smiling at the sight of future foodies dressed like sushi rolls, burritos, pineapples, cupcakes, and donuts; kindergartners tapping into their bravery as superhero icons like Thor, Wonder Woman, and Captain America; tiny divas donning unicorn, mermaid, butterfly, and fairy costumes; and clever kiddos in hilarious and adorable Stay Puft Marshmallow Man, Popeye, Pinocchio, and Oscar the Grouch duds. Personally, I’d rather not see any costumes referencing Jigsaw, Freddy Kruger, grim reapers, or creepy clowns – after all, there’s enough scary stuff happening on a daily basis! For me, Halloween is best when it’s about whimsical make-believe (and candy, of course!).
In that spirit, today I’m sharing some pics of the new Tweezerman Make Believers Collection ($17 each, sold separately at Tweezerman.com), which consists of three Mini Slant Tweezers with fantasy-inspired prints. The mythical inspiration continues with the Make Believers Mermaid Slant Tweezer, which features a pastel, aquatic blue backdrop adorned with lilac-colored outlines of long-haired mermaids swimming alongside seahorses and marveling at the conch shells and starfish in their underwater paradises. And, for those who know every word of “Somewhere Over the Rainbow,” there’s the Make Believers Rainbow Mini Slant Tweezer, which features rows of perfect semi-circles, each with seven distinct colors (albeit not the ones you’d typically find in a rainbow, but that’s where the magic comes in!).
These limited-edition tweezers feature hand-finished stainless steel tips with a 25-degree angle that’s ideal for eyebrow shaping, so they’re magical in their own right, but the dreamy designs will easily cast a spell on you — and anyone who beholds them on your vanity table.
