Kari Traa

Kari Traa is a Norwegian women’s sportswear brand named after its founder, a famed freestyle skier and Olympic gold medalist. All Kari Traa pieces are designed for women by women, empowering us to thrive in the outdoors by providing us with all the gear we’ll need to feel comfortable and confident — whether we’re hiking, camping, skiing, sledding or just taking a nature stroll.

Kari Traa prides itself on its base layers, which feature feminine silhouettes, advanced body-mapping technology, and are ethically made using premium materials like 100% non-mulesing merino wool.

Built to handle extreme cold, the Smekker Half-Zip and Pant are crafted from IWTO-certified, traceable, non-mulesing merino wool and feature panels of stylish jacquard -knit patterns that create a figure-flattering effect. The Alma Half-Zip and Pant, meanwhile, are lightweight, technical base layers that are ideal for spring ski days, combining Merino wool with strategically placed, moisture-wicking Tencel panels. The top’s cozy high collar is designed to keep you warm on chilly days while the smooth flat-lock seams prevent chafing, and the thumb holes provide a bit more coverage from the cold.

The Smekker Half-Zip Top and Pant retail for $130 and $120, respectively, while the Alma Half-Zip Top and Pant, retail for $70 and $60 each. You can find these pieces and more on KariTraa.com

Camille Rose

Black-owned and female-founded brand Camille Rose offers high-performance, thoughtfully formulated haircare and skincare products made with plant-based ingredients. Founder Janell Stephens started the company after searching for skincare and haircare products that were gentle enough for her kids, who were grappling with chronic eczema and dry scalps. Faced with a dearth of effective vegan options, Stephens started mixing together botanical ingredients and making bespoke concoctions in her kitchen. Her handmade products received such praise from her family and friends, that Stephens knew she had stumbled upon something with incredible promise Three years later, in 2012, she officially launched Camille Rose, launching in Target stores and, soon thereafter, in stores like Sally’s Beauty, Walgreens and Boots UK. Since then, the company has only continued to expand and amass fans worldwide.

The Camille Rose Curl Love Collection (which now includes a recently launched Shampoo and Conditioner) features two of brand’s most beloved and iconic products: the Curl Love Moisture Milk ($15 on CamilleRose.com) and Curl Maker ($22 on CamilleRose.com) Both award-winning products were designed for all curl types: from wavy to curly, coily and kinky.

The best-selling Curl Love Moisture Milk is a leave-in conditioner that feature hydrates and nourishes curls, leaving them softer, shinier and bouncier. The formula contains macadamia oil to seal strands and prevent breakage, vitamin-rich rice milk to promote healthy hair growth, and slippery elm bark to facilitate detangling and soften strands. It can be applied after washing and conditioning hair for an extra dose of moisture, used as a primer prior to styling curls, or smoothed onto curls i between wash days to give them added oomph.

The Curl Maker, meanwhile, is a curl defining jelly blended with marshmallow root, golden agave nectar, and nettle root. Not only does this styling product give curls definition and fends off frizz, but it encourages hair growth and protects strands. And, unlike so many curl defining products, this one enhances your curl pattern weighing hair down, leaving your curls and coils bouncier than ever.

Lanolips

Growing up in her grandfather’s sheep farm in Australia, Kirsten Carriol discovered the benefits of lanolin, an ultra-moisturizing oil found in sheep’s wool. Years later, after a long flight left her lips and cuticles cracked and dry, Carriol tried every balm in her possession and nothing worked quite like the lanolin she’d used as a child. This “aha!” moment led to the creation of her lanolin-centric brand Lanolips, which was launched in 2009.

Lanolips has now amassed a cult following, with fans including celebrities like Gigi Hadid, Alicia Keys, Drew Barrymore , and Emily Blunt. In fact, the brand’s hero product, the Lanolips 101 Ointment Multipurpose Superbalm ($16.95 at Target stores) is a worldwide sensation, with one tube sold every 30 seconds globally. This super dense balm penetrates skin and holds 400% of its weight in moisture, deeply hydrating and repairing skin. It can be used in 101 ways: you can apply it to chapped lips, dab it onto dry cuticles, smooth it onto cracked heels, use it to tame eyebrows, apply it to insect bites and paper cuts, and much more.

And, for those who love a fruit-scented ointment, there’s the Lanolips 101 Ointment Fruities in Strawberry ($13.50 at Target stores), which is infused with strawberry extract. Like its predecessor, this delightful-smelling balm has 101 uses, plus it’s packed with alpha-hydroxy acids that help to exfoliate dead skin cells and reveal smoother, healthier skin.

You can now find both of these Lanolips essentials in the bath and body aisle at Target!

Eleven Eleven Wines

Founded by lifelong friends Ellie Anest and Carol Vasilliadis, Eleven Eleven Wines is a Napa Valley winery built around the idea of creating enduring connections through wine, food and community. Drawing inspiration from Ellie’s Greek heritage, they built the company around the Greek concept of “Parea,” a term that refers to friends gathering together to share life experiences.

Through their exceptional wines and their hard work and perseverance, Carol and Ellie have broken barriers in the male-dominated wine industry and opened up doors for future generations of women in the business.

All Eleven Eleven wines are a love letter to Napa Valley — particularly the brand’s signature wines, the 2021 XI Cabernet Sauvignon and 2022 Dutton Ranch Chardonnay.

Showcasing the rich terroir of the Oak Knoll AVA, the 2021 XI Cabernet Sauvignon ($90 on Shop.ElevenElevenWines.com) showcases deep flavors, revealing layers of blackcurrant, dark plum, and wild berries complemented by a touch of new oak. On the palate, well-balanced tannins provide a smooth and elegant texture, while hints of spice and subtle earthiness add depth and character.

The 2022 Dutton Ranch Chardonnay ($65 on Shop.ElevenElevenWines.com), meanwhile, radiates the essence of the Russian River Valley. The nose unveils a harmonious fusion of ripe pineapple and velvety peach, enhanced by delicate traces of vanilla and toasted oak. On the palate, it strikes the perfect balance between a bright acidity and the warmth of soft oak.
