As a master in the art of accessorizing, Cuban-American jewelry designer Annie Basulto, the mastermind behind Brooklyn-based, street-savvy, ultra badass costume jewelry line Cubannie Links has long harbored an interest in unique nail looks that could make a striking fashion statement.

Cowgirl-inspired fashions have played a major role in this season’s style landscape, with brands like Nicholas K, Carlos Miele, Mara Hoffman, and Isabel Marant all toying with motifs ranging from gaucho pants and fitted jumpsuits to wide-brimmed hats, equestrian boots, ponchos, and tribal-inspired prints.
