A few weeks ago, when I went backstage at the Korto Momolu FW14 show during New York Fashion Week to report the beauty and hair looks created by the SheaMoisture team, I not only fell in love with the brand’s new range of cosmetics (launching this spring at Target), but I also swooned over the accessories that were neatly arranged on a table, each paired with one of the garments that would be showcased during the runway presentation.
When it comes to style trends, you might have a case of déja vu this spring as, once again, black-and-white garments and accessories bump their colorful counterparts off the fashion grid.
Ear cuffs have been steadily gaining popularity since last year’s punk-themed Met Gala event, when Nicole Richie, Sienna Miller and Cara DeLevigne all sported these accessories with their respective ensembles (Richie opted for Dana Rebeca Designs ear cuffs whereas Miller and DeLevigne both wore Genevieve Jones designs).
