Yesterday, I appeared again on Telemundo’s “Mujer de Hoy” segment — this time to discuss street style trends in New York City and, more importantly, how to turn heads while strutting down the Big Apple’s longest runways: its crowded sidewalks.
I debated whether or not to watch the Academy Awards this year since, for the most part, I wasn’t enthused about the majority of the films released in 2012 (with Argo and Zero Dark Thirty being the two notable exceptions).

One of the most pervasive beauty trends identified during Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Fall 2013 has been the abundance of bold, smoky, somewhat cat-shaped eyes in deep shades of indigo blue, cobalt, and violet.
In previous years, fashion designer Jen Kao has opted for rather minimalist makeup looks when showing at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week but, for Fall 2013, she told MAC Cosmetics’ key makeup artist Yadim that she wanted to go a different route and showcase a stronger, more commanding look.
