Early this morning, I visited the Telemundo studios in New Jersey to discuss back-to-school fashion trends on “Primera Edición.” We had some adorable child models for the segment (shown in the second photo above) who smiled their little hearts out and charmed the camera every chance they got.
As you lovely readers know, I made an appearance on Telemundo NY last Friday to discuss swimsuit trends — and, in particular, the rising popularity of one-piece swimsuits (a huge relief for many of us who, after having children, never feel quite comfortable baring our midriffs — no matter how thin or toned we might be).
This morning, I had the pleasure of visiting the Telemundo studios and appearing on “Primera Edición” to discuss the latest swimsuit trends, focusing particularly on the growing popularity of one-piece styles and the various trends within this realm.
Last week, right before the Fourth of July weekend, I stopped by Telemundo’s “Primera Edición” to chat about the latest footwear trends — from flat espadrilles, knee-high gladiators, and flatform sandals to shoes with stylish cut-outs, tropical and floral prints, bright neon shades, color-blocked motifs, and tribal patterns.
When I was younger, I often heard women say that short girls shouldn’t wear maxi dresses but I’ve found that to be completely untrue since at 5’0″, I can rock an ankle-length or floor-length dress with the best of them!

We’ve all heard about some of this season’s predominant fashion trends: the return of Birkenstocks and other sport sandals (yuck!), the abundance of tropical palm prints, chambray pieces of all ilk, head-to-toe white looks,nautical stripes and seafaring motifs, holographic prints, day-to-night sequins, and so forth.
After five straight days of rain here in New York City, we finally woke up to some sunshine on Saturday — and for fashion lovers, that meant having a cup of coffee and quickly scouring our closets for flirty, fun, summery pieces to flaunt.
