Though the Screen Actors Guild awards don’t necessarily reel in viewers in the manner that the Golden Globes and Oscars do (hence why they air on TBS, as opposed to NBC), they’re incredibly important to those within the film industry since any recognition received is a reflection of the esteem earned by their very own peers.
When you’re bundled up, wearing two and three layers of clothing, keeping your perfect mani hidden inside gloves and your expensive highlights tucked inside berets and ski caps, all while braving brisk and often brutal wind gusts and trudging through icy and slushy streets and sidewalks, there’s nothing quite like the thought of spring.
Last night’s red carpet at the 2014 Golden Globes was a pleasant rarity in that there were such few fashion missteps.
