Building Bridges

Someone is trying to sell us the Brooklyn Bridge, but trust me: there’s nothing disingenuous about this sales pitch.

Brookadephia’s “Brooklyn Bridge” necklace, which features a 2.5″ x 1″ pendant hanging from a 14k gold fill chain, is an ode to this structure’s architectural grandeur (after all, when it was opened in 1883, it instantly entered the history books as the world’s largest suspension bridge) and a stylistic, hip-hop flavored fashion statement.

I think if this piece had a soundtrack, it would be Prince’s “Graffiti Bridge.”
