The staggering success of this summer’s Wonder Woman film, which raked in $103.1 million during its opening weekend and then buried The Mummy during its second week at cinemas, has finally proven that female-centered action movies can translate into box office gold. The action movie glass ceiling might just be shattering — and it’s about time! The movie’s success feel like an even sweeter triumph for womankind because, not only does it feature a female star, Gal Gadot, but the production itself was largely helmed by women: chief among them director Patty Jenkins, production designer Aline Bonetto, set decorator Anna Lynch-Robinson, and visual effects producer Amber Kirsch. Together, these women created a thrilling film centered on a feminist icon and did so while giving the narrative a distinctly female point-of-view, celebrating both Wonder Woman’s strength and her vulnerability, underscoring her bravery and her fighting prowess while highlighting her belief in justice and her unwavering faith in human kind. This isn’t some aloof and cold, leather-clad superhero or villain devoid of any personality who seems to cavort around simply to delight the male gaze —  sure, as Wonder Woman, Gal Gadot is gorgeous and desirable, but the film never steers our superhero the wrong way, never allows her to become a cinematic sex object. That alone is a victory in the history of comic book-steeped cinema — and, really, in the action genre as a whole!

While we may not all be Amazonian warrior princesses with bulletproof bracelets and boomerang tiaras, the truth is every woman has a superhero inside of her. If you want to feel “beautiful as Aphrodite, wise as Athena, swifter than Hermes, and stronger than Hercules,” you can start with the Benefit Cosmetics “Love, Truth, and Beauty” set ($49 at HSN.com), which features four makeup products designed to highlight your features and celebrate your natural beauty. The limited-edition set even comes in a zippered red cosmetic bag with the words “Love,” “Truth,” and “Beauty,” stamped along the front in a golden yellow shade and the double “W” logo associated with Princess Diana of Themyscira.

The makeup collection includes: a 0.33 fl. oz. Benetint, which gives both your pouts and your cheeks a sheer and luminous rose tint that’s at once innocent and slightly provocative; a 0.33 fl. oz. High Beam, a liquid highlighter with a pink satin finish and a brush applicator that  allows you to accentuate your cheekbones, cupid’s bow, and brow arches; a 0.3 fl. oz. They’re Real! Beyond Mascara in Jet Black, a long-wearing mascara that lengthens, curls, lifts, separates, and volumizes lashes thanks to a brush that combines both short and along bristles; and a 0.05 oz. “They’re Real!” Double the Lip in Revved Up Red, a lipstick and lip liner in one that incorporates two shades (a darker shade along the teardrop-shaped tip and a lighter shade below it), so that you can create a believable ombré lip look that makes your pout appear fuller and more voluptuous.

Hey, Wonder Woman accessorizes before going into battle, so why shouldn’t you sweep on some mascara and apply a touch of lipstick before conquering the day?
