This isn’t some aloof and cold, leather-clad superhero or villain devoid of any personality who seems to cavort around simply to delight the male gaze — sure, as Wonder Woman, Gal Gadot is gorgeous and desirable, but the film never steers our superhero the wrong way, never allows her to become a cinematic sex object.
