Remember the exhilaration Kate Hudson’s character in How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days, Andie Anderson, felt when she was gifted a pair of tickets to the NBA Finals? Well, I can’t say I’ve ever experienced that kind of anticipation over a basketball game — largely due to the fact that I know as much about the sport as I do about underwater basket weaving. But, despite my shortcomings in the basketball acumen department, I have overheard the passionate discussions my friends and colleagues have had regarding the NBA Finals and the performance of LeBron James and Stephen Curry therein. If, like them, you’re glued to ESPN, waiting to discover which team’s members will wind up donning the coveted 2015 championship rings, then you can show your passion for basketball while ballin’ on the style front with one of the sunglasses in the new  Westbrook Frames NBA Series collection.

The limited-edition Westbrook Frames NBA Series collection consists of 7 pairs of shades, each retailing for $145 at WestbrookFrames.com. Each of the shades bears the color of a particular NBA team: purple and gold for the LA Lakers (pictured at top), white and kelly green for the Boston Celtics (shown second from top), wine and navy with a touch of gold for the Cleveland Cavaliers (pictured third above), orange and royal blue for the New York Knicks (shown fourth above), red and black for Miami Heat (seen fifth above), black and white for the Brooklyn Nets (shown sixth abovE), and blue and red for the Los Angeles Clippers (pictured last above).

All of the shades have the same classic silhouette, a riff on the iconic aviator style, and have frames fashioned out of white copper (which has the benefit of being both malleable and anti-corrosive),a long with glare-minimizing CR-39 polarized plastic lenses in a dark gray color. In addition to bearing the colors of its respective team, each pair of sunglasses within the NBA collection is engraved with its team’s logo on the front left temple and the NBA’s logo on the tip of the left temple. The branding details are subtle and understated, but they make each pair of sunglasses feel like even more of a treasure.

Offering UV400 protection, the unisex shades are available for pre-order now at WestbrookFrames.com and will ship in July. Even if, like me, you can’t master the art of dribbling, you’ll still have plenty of game on the fashion court with these winning shades. Ballin’!
