Few stars showcased their individuality on the 2015 SAG Awards red carpet as triumphantly as Birdman actress and Revlon spokesperson Emma Stone. First, there was her inspired ensemble choice: a tuxedo-inspired Dior Couture gown with a long jacket serving as the bodice (replete with a double-button closure below the waist, slim lapels, and side pockets conveniently located along the hips) and a sultry, sheer, floor-length skirt with an ethereal train infusing an elegance and a femme fatale quality to the design. The result was a push-and-pull between masculine and feminine that felt more theatrical than a rendition of Victor Victoria. Then, there were her edgy accessories — rather than traditional chandelier earrings  Stone flaunted a n edgy Repossi white gold diamond ear cuff that crawled upward from her left lobe, extending half way up her ear. And, for the finishing touch, Stone wowed with a statement-making red lip.

If her makeup look for the Golden Globes was all about “big eyes,” the focal point for the SAG Awards was a perfectly siren-worthy pout. Celebrity makeup artist Rachel Goodwin envisioned Stone’s beauty look for the evening, which she hoped would reference the women photographed by Helmut Newton for his late-’70s editorial work.

To make Stone’s mouth speak volumes (pun intended), Goodwin made sure the rest of the look remained monochromatic. First, to create a smooth and even canvas while eliminating any excess shine and minimizing the appearance of pores, Goodwin smoothed the Revlon PhotoReady Prime + Anti Shine Balm over the entire face. Next, she applied the Chanel Hydra Beauty Micro Sérum to give Stone’s complexion a healthy glow. To give her face a hint of coverage, she then applied the Chanel Vitalumière Aqua Ultra-Light Skin-Perfecting Makeup and then sculpted Stone’s features ever so gently with the Chanel Les Beiges Healthy Glow Sheer Color Broad Spectrum SPF 15 in N. 10 and N. 20, using the darker shade along the hollows of the cheekbones and relying on the lighter hue to boost her skin’s luminosity.

To accentuate Emma’s Eyes, Goodwin applied the Chanel Illusion D’Ombre Long Lasting Luminous Eyeshadow in Mirage, a shimmering golden brown hue, along the lids, and rimmed the entire eye with the Revlon PhotoReady Kajal Matte Eye Pencil in Matte Coal. Last, she gave Stone out-to-there lashes by coating them with the Chanel Le Volume de Chanel mascara in Noir.

Last, Goodwin applied the Revlon ColorStay Lip Liner in Red to Stone’s pout, creating strong graphic lines to accentuate the contours of the mouth and give them greater strength and definition. Next, she filled Stone’s pout with the Revlon Ultra HD Lipstick in HD Gladiolus, a creamy and saturated color with a semi-matte finish.

She may not have nabbed a Best Supporting Actress trophy, but she certainly won the Best Lipstick award!
