In keeping with all of these principles, the IT Cosmetics Your Most Radiant You! collection features five essential beauty products  (two of them brand new releases) to help achieve a flawless complexion, give cheeks a rosy and natural-looking flushed appearance, extend and define lashes, and add just a hint of color to lids. The five products in this boxed set are: the Celebration Foundation Illumination Full Coverage Anti-Aging Foundation, the CC+ Radiance Ombré Blush, the Hello Lashes Extensions 24HR Mascara, the No-TugWaterproof Gel Eyeliner, and the Heavenly Luxe Double Airbrush Foundation Brush.

I had the opportunity to check out this amazing kit before it made its TSV debut so, below, you’ll find photos of all the products, as well as details on how they measure up in terms of their performance.

First, here’s a look at the elegant white box in which the collection is packaged, as well as the precision with which each individually boxed product is nestled inside its corresponding grooved plastic slot on the inside of the box.

Now, let’s get to the fun part: the contents!

The first item in the set is the  Celebration Foundation Illumination Full Coverage Anti-Aging Foundation, a powder foundation with a velvety feel that’s so indulgent it’s almost cream-like. Infused with antioxidants, peptides, and hydrolyzed collagen, this foundation helps to smooth out any fine lines and wrinkles and make the skin appear more taut and youthful. This, in turn, allows the foundation to go on more evenly so that none of the powder seeps into any crevices along the complexion. The Drops of Light Technology utilized to formulate the foundation also effectively boost the skin’s natural radiance, helping to conceal any dark under-eye circles, red blotches or patches, acne marks, and so forth, while also creating a lit-from-within effect. This delicate foundation offers medium-to-full coverage and a nice matte finish, keeping shine at bay.

Next, is a brand new launch for IT Cosmetics: the CC+ Radiance Ombré Blush in Je Ne Sais Quoi. Meant to flatter a wide range of skin tones, this blush boasts a gradient color scheme that moves from a medium intensity rose pink with a matte finish along the bottom of the compact to a warm honeysuckle pink with a hint of shimmer along the center of the compact and then transitioning to a light, perky, carnation pink hue with tons of illuminating specks at the very top of the round compact. For maximum color payoff, you can apply the darker shade of blush to the apples of cheeks, buffing the color using upward and diagonal movements, or you can swirl all the shades together to create a custom pink hue. You can also use the lightest pink shade as a highlighter,  using a small eye shadow brush to sweep it along the tops of cheekbones, along the brow bone area, or down the ridge of the nose.

Like the foundation, this tri-color blush has a luxurious, silky soft texture and a lightweight feel.

Since every woman wants major lashes, the set incorporates another stellar new product: the IT Cosmetics Hello Lashes Extension 24HR Mascara. The mascara’s formula is infused with collagen to make lashes appear plumper and add major volume, proteins to strengthen hair fibers, vitamin B5 to condition and soften lash hairs, and soothing green tea.

In addition to lengthening, volumizing, conditioning, and defining lashes, this mascara intensifies their color by incorporating jet black melted nylon fibers that adhere to your own hairs for the most dramatic of effects.

But perhaps the most remarkable element of this mascara is the innovative shape of the wand’s applicator tip.  When held horizontally, you can see the comb-like bristles that are evenly separated along the cylindrical brush. But, then, when you pivot the mascara wand and hold it vertically, you’ll notice the sphere at the very tip of the applicator brush, with its clustered bristles, which is reminiscent of the ball-shaped wand tip on the Givenchy Phenomen’Eyes Mascara (one of my all-time favorites).

By taking advantage of both of these applicator areas, you can create an ideal lash look. First, you’ll want to hold the brush horizontally and sweep it upward, from the base of the lashes to the tip. Next, you can hold the brush vertically and, using the lash ball detailer, gently pull each lash up so as to separate, de-clump, and clearly define every single lash (even the ones that seem to be hiding reluctantly).

To further accentuate those lovely eyes, this set includes the best-selling No-Tug Waterproof Gel Eyeliner in Black-Brown. As its name suggests, this pencil liner glides on effortlessly, without tugging at the delicate skin on the eyelids. Formulated with hydrolyzed collagen, silk proteins, rose extract, and antioxidants, this highly pigmented, long-wearing, smudge-proof eyeliner deposits striking, high-impact color in one fluid motion — all the while moisturizing and soothing the skin.

Now, part of this set’s allure is that you can use it when creating a “five minute face” (meaning you want to get out the door as quickly as possible but don’t want to do so completely bare-faced). Given that the foundation offers a significant amount of coverage but still looks weightless and natural and thanks to the ease of application granted by the brush, you can achieve a flawless-looking complexion in a flash and then move onto your cheeks and eyes. In a matter of minutes, you’ll notice a transformation — your face will look more radiant, any blemishes and dark spots will be concealed, your cheeks will have a healthy flush to them, lashes will seem sky-high, and your lash line will be intensified and will make the whites of your eyes seem that much whiter. And, if you want a bold lip, you can simply complete the look by applying your favorite lipstick, lip stain, or gloss.

As you can see, even thought I’m wearing foundation, blush, eyeliner, and mascara,the effect is very understated and subtle. Heck, if I wanted to front, I could totally take a selfie and add the now ubiquitous #IWokeUpLikeThis hashtag — and, chances are, few people would be the wiser!
