Check Out Some Pics From The SheaMoisture Pop-Up Shop Event Last Night!

Buenos  días, my lovely readers!  Last night, I had the extreme pleasure of being the featured guest at SheaMoisture’s pop-up shop at Bryant Park, and I had an amazing time greeting guests and talking about all my favorite products from the brand (and there are a LOT of them!). The pop-up shop is adorable so, if you’re in the New York City area, you should definitely swing by. In fact, I’d advise you to make a day of it since there are tons of pop-up shops located along the perimeter of the Bryant Park ice skating rink and you can grab some cocoa, hot cider, coffee, and treats, visit different shops, then watch the folks ice skating (or, in my case, falling on the ice!).

The event took place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and many of my lovely readers and close friends swung by to say hello and to pick up some holiday goodies for their loved ones. SheaMoisture even set up a table with my favorite products (which you can see above), which range from the Coconut & Hibiscus Curl Enhancing Smoothie and the Coconut & Hibiscus Curl & Style Hair Milk to the Olive & Green Tea Body Butter and the Olive & Green Tea Body Scrub. Not only were the deals amazing (3 products for $25), but there were also mini cupcakes and wine on hand, and we grooved to the sounds of Lauryn Hill, Maxwell, Rihanna, and more. It was a holiday rockin’ time to say the least!

And, since I love this time of year, I wanted to look particularly festive, so I donned a body-hugging, long-sleeved glittery green H&M dress with beaded stones along the shoulders, then accessorized with my starburst-shaped Erika Peña earrings, my sparkling Lia Sophia bracelet, and huge statement rings from Dannijo and Nissa Jewelry.

Best of all David Stanko and his right-hand gal Angela dolled me up at the Cutler Salon in New York City, with David working his magic on the color front and Angela creating this fabulous updo, which left me feeling like a modern-day Cinderella. And to complete the whole look, I slid on this amazing ban.do Boom Boom Flower Headband, which features sequin-covered , malleable petals and a golden headband with two rows of rhinestone sequins.
