Kiss The Stride! Check Out Alberto Guardiani’s Lipstick Heel Collection

Strutting and smooching are two of our favorite things, which is why we we’ve been lusting after the Alberto Guardiani Lipstick Heel Pump worn by the likes of pop star Katy Perry and singer/H&M spokesmodel Lana Del Rey. But why retrace their steps when we can pick a new footwear style from Alberto Guardiani’s ever-expanding Lipstick Heel collection? For the Fall/Winter 2012 season, the Italian footwear brand has introduced sharp new pumps and ankle boots, each equipped with a Bond Girl-worthy, 4″-tall,  lipstick-shaped heel. And here’s the kicker: since no woman likes to a stamped-out tissue in a “basket of kisses,” she can mark her style territory just as she would “mark her man” (Peep Mad Men Season 1 if the references confound you) by changing the color of her “lipstick.” In fact, every pair comes with a cosmetic case featuring different lipstick bullets in shades ranging from a classic red to a demure nude, a downtown cool blue, a goth black, and a sultry gold.

For Fall/Winter 2012, then, you can opt for a shoe with greater coverage, such as the Patent Ankle Boot ($649 at Store.AlbertoGuardiani.com) shown above at top, a basic black number with a diagonal, cross-hatch style, plaid pattern in an antique gold hue to add a sense of primness and a glamorous classicality to the otherwise modern silhouette. Similarly, she can opt for the same style in a nude shade (as shown third from top), with the crisscrossing lines in a warm butterscotch shade.

Since velvet is such a holiday go-to (as, of course, are shades of red, sultry metallics, sequined-embellished dresses and accessories), you can always flirt with the trend by investing in the Black Velvet Pump ($574 at Store.AlbertoGuardiani.com), featuring an almond-shaped toe and a low vamp that shows just enough skin without compromising the shoe’s elegance.

For a funkier twist, go on a safari of sorts with the Nude Leopard Pump ($597 at Store.AlbertoGuardiani.com), shown last above, which reinvents the classic Lipstick Heel Pump through the use of a monochromatic, leopard-print embossed patent leather in a sandy nude hue.

But perhaps the sexiest iteration of the classic heel is the Black Mesh Pump ($1065 at Store.AlbertoGuardiani.com), pictured next to last, which features metallic black mesh side panels, a matte black leather toe cap and heel counter, and an ultra-luxurious take on the beloved lipstick-shaped heel that incorporates baguette-cut Swarovski crystals encrusted along the base of the cube-shaped lipstick “tube.”

Shimmy along in these shoes and you’re likely to leave quite the mark! No kiss necessary to seal the deal — unless, of course, that’s where the night takes you (wink, wink).
